- ***SASE for list of paper dolls in color ***

I’m interested in purchasing some of the magazine paper dolls. Can I get a list with the cost and pictures. Thanks.
Lydia most of the magazine paper dolls I have posted on the blog are for sale, I just have not had the time to make up a list. I also have to go to the post office and see what the postage will be for 3 in a package, as I thought that would be a good way to sell them, maybe 3 for $10.00 plus postage. Any thoughts on this idea? Marge
Yes I’m interested in some of them. I just bought some at $3.00 each. Can you sell for that. I’d like to see what you have and can then purchase some I may not already have. Thanks.
Lydia – they are all posted on the blog, if you start at the beginning and go thru and make up a list of dates I posted them on and e-mail me at marges8@bellsouth.net I will let you if they are for sale. Most of the magazine ones I am selling as that is not really my thing and I need to start down sizing my collection, no room to sit any more.
OK. Thanks.
I would like to buy a copy of alice in wonderland paper dolls!
Thanks
Hi Jan. – could you give me the date I posted it, so I know better the one you are talking about. Thank you. Marge
Hi!
I like your blog. Thanks for all sends. I have a lot of the dolls you just have on your blog. You can find them on Webshots on ullano100. There name is Hemmets Journal, Hemmets Journal 2 and Hemmets Journal 6.
Hugs Ulla.
Jaye – there are some Winnie Winkle paper dolls posted on my blog. I do not have too many of her, but a few which I post one now and then.
I am interested in Besty McCall, some of the Hallmark that were cards for girls. Let me know what is available.
thanks carol day
I have found a stash of Winnie winkle paper dolls cut out from newspapers in the late 30′s, early 40′s, I think. My mom wrapped them all in paper dated 1940. Since they are cut out and not on a page, they are probably not of any value.
Any suggestions about what to do with them?
Cindy
Hi Cindy – my suggestion, sell them to me. How many are there? Not sure you know the comic strip paper dolls are my first love and I like them cut or uncut. Marge
Dear Marge……..I haven’t counted how many there are, but I will. If I sell them to you, I’ll probably keep a couple just because they are so lovely. Along with the cut out clothes, are some designs my mom made, to fit the paper-doll. I was born in 1941, when she was 20, so she must have collected them in her late teens I think. As I said, the papers she wrapped them in said 1940 (scrap paper) but one actually had a Western Union paper around them which said 1935.
Since I know you sell them and have to make some money on them when you do, I’m not sure what you’d pay for them, but I do like the idea of them going to someone who collects and loves them.
I am down sizing and keep finding all sorts of things my mom collected. I have hundreds and hundreds of postcards and some old greeting cards among the paper goods. Not wanting to throw anything out, I’m looking for homes for some of the good stuff!
I will take the paper-dolls out tomorrow and weed out my mom’s own creations. I’ll take some pictures if you like and send them on to you. Then you can give me some idea of the amount you wish to pay for them.
Interesting!
Cindy
Send your regular e-mail address for the photos….
Cindy – unless it is a duplicate I do not sell my comic strip paper dolls, I am selling my greeting card and magazine paper dolls because they really are not my thing as the saying goes. So these I will keep. My e-mail address is marges8@bellsouth.net.
Marge…………just checking back to see if you’re interested in buying the paper dolls I sent you photos of??
Cindy
Hi Cindy – sorry, pain problems keep me from pulling out the big book I have my Winnie Winkles mounted in. Will try to do it soon, hopefully going the first of the week for cortasone shots.
Sorry to hear about your pain problems. I;m in no hurry. Hope you feel better soon.
