Ever wonder why things happen when they do? I know that God works in strange and mysterious ways and I think tonight it happened for me again. Korey is out to another Christmas party tonight and I was sitting here alone and kinda feeling sad.
So I got my box of cards from Marilyn in Ohio out and was going through them looking for extra nice ones to share on the blog tonight. Well when I came across the little bunny card, a light bulb went on in my wee brain, Marilyn had just sent me a picture of a greeting card the other night. Now all I had was the picture of two bunnies, not sure what kind of greeting card it is or who published it, but one of the bunnies on that card looked just like the bunny on my card. Now my card was sent to me back in 2001 from a dear friend from a doll club that both Marilyn and I belonged to (another co-incidence?)
This is the one sent to me back in 2001 by Frances Reedy.
This is the card Marilyn sent me 12-18-2011 – now it certainly looks to me that they took the first card above, added another bunny and some greenery, plus another berry bush.
Wonder if the artist did this, or the publishing company had one of their artist do it.? ANYWAY, now I am sitting here thinking about two wonderful friends . and reliving fun memories, there is now a smile on my face and one in my heart. Frances was a porcelain doll maker and the club members used to help her in doing some of the UFDC regional souvenir dolls, it was a great learning experience and a wonderful fun time with great people.
Hi Marge
It really looks as if another bunny was added to the first one, I like both cards
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for sharing your paperdolls and cards

Marge I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your blog. The cards and the paper dolls bring back so many good nostalgic memories of a more innocent time.
From my Family to yours may you have many blessed days and joyful holidays.
Sincerely
Ramona
