This paper doll also has a nice description of the outfits and the period they are from.
There is a book author by the same name, wonder if it is the same woman? Think I will have to try to find her blog again and ask.
This came from the National Doll World magazine, Nov/Dec 1983.
Not sure why but I have always thought of Valentines with the Medieval thru Victorian Period of fashion.
I like the cone shaped hats with the drapes, wonder how heavy they were to wear?
Lady Elnora and her clothes are wonderful! But I bet those fabric draped cone hats gave the ladies a lot of headaches!
Thank you, again, Marge. Good to have you back.
Yes, it is the same Kathleen Taylor – she wrote a series of mystery books, which were awesome. She also collects paper dolls and dabbles a bit in pd artwork. She also knits and has written a ton of knitting books. She is an awesome lady with a brilliant sense of humour.
Cindy – thank you for the answer, since I read tons of mystery books will have to get some of her to read. She sounds like a very busy lady. My mom tried to teach me how to knit, but I prefer crocheting I will also have to look at her blog again if it is still up. Have a nice day. Marge
